lifejustgotawkward:

happy birthday, Peter Hook - the brilliant bassist of Joy Division and New Order. Since I’m more of a Joy Division fan, 9 out of the 10 songs are by them… but New Order’s “The Perfect Kiss” is a mid-80s masterpiece of an otherworldly sort.
“Disorder”
“New Dawn Fades”
“She’s Lost Control”
“Shadowplay”
“Transmission”
“Dead Souls”
“Love Will Tear Us Apart” - video for the song that made me a fan for life.
“Twenty Four Hours”
“Atmosphere” - one of the greatest videos EVER. It’s a moving tribute to Ian Curtis.
“The Perfect Kiss” - this version is just so amazingly epic. You should also watch the original long video.
